Complete your medical forms electronically in Magnus Health by Aug. 10

• We recommend downloading the Magnus Health app in the Apple or Google Play stores.
• Depending on the age and how long they’ve been at the School, students will have different requirements. Magnus Health will know based on your answers to preliminary questions what forms you will need for your student.
• If your student has a pediatrician appointment made for after Aug. 10, please contact All School Health Coordinator Natalie Johnson at njohnson@stab.org so we can make a note of it.
• Please note that student-athletes and Residential Life students may not participate in regular School activities until these forms are completed.

Review these medication guidelines carefully. St. Anne’s-Belfield School follows the Virginia State Law regarding medication administration for prescription as well as over-the-counter medications.

The guidelines below apply to prescription as well as over-the-counter medications. If you feel your student may need Tylenol or Ibuprofen prior to school, please evaluate whether attending school is the appropriate action.

• Medication will only be given to students at school with written permission from the parent/guardian and your student’s medical provider. The permission form is in Magnus Health. 
• Medication should be brought to the main office by the parent/guardian in a pharmacy-labeled container including doctor’s name, student’s name, drug, time to be given, and amount. If the medication needs to be given at school, the parent/guardian needs to divide the amount into separately-labeled bottles for school. Parents/guardians must contact the school before dropping off any medication. The medication guidelines also apply to those students who use inhalers and EpiPens.
• Medications will be stored in the nurse’s office inside the infirmary in the Scott Center for Arts & Sciences (SCAS). Students may not carry medication during the school day. If it is medically necessary for a student to store medication in the classroom or self carry, then a special form must be completed by the parent/guardian and physician.
