ECP Start and End Times and Extended Day Options
Arrival
Times
The Early Childhood Program school day officially begins at the following times for students:
- Twos: Morning Meeting at 8:35 a.m.
- Pre-School and Junior Kindergarten: Morning Meeting at 8:35 a.m.
Locations
- Twos: Early Childhood Program (ECP) Building
- Pre-School: Half of the program will use the Meadow Entrance, and the other half will use the Quarry Entrance. Your child’s specific arrival location will be communicated to your family in August, along with their class assignment.
- Junior Kindergarten: Arrival at the Meadow Entrance.
As a school, we understand that navigating different arrival times for siblings can be tricky and some parents/guardians need to drop their children off prior to the official start of the day. To accommodate these needs, the following schedule applies:
- Two-year-olds may arrive at 8 a.m. if they have siblings at the School.
- Pre-School and Junior Kindergarten may arrive at 7:45 a.m. It is important that all children arrive by 8:30 a.m.
Arrival in the event of severe weather
- If there is severe weather expected at the time of arrival or dismissal, you will receive a communication from the School noting the change of location.
- The severe weather arrival location is the ECP Building.
Dismissal
Times
The school day ends at the following times for students:
- Twos: 11:45 a.m.
- Pre-School: 12 p.m. (Extended Day Options Below)
- Junior Kindergarten: 2:55 p.m.
Daily Times For Extended Day & Aftercare Options
- Two-Year-Olds and Pre-School Extended Day: 12 – 2:55 p.m.
- All ECP Classes Full Day/Aftercare: 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Locations
- Twos: ECP Building
- Pre-School: Meadow Entrance, 12 p.m. dismissal
- Pre-School: Dismissals after 12 p.m. through 5:30 p.m. take place from the ECP building
- Junior Kindergarten: ECP Building
