Why St. Anne’s-Belfield?
I love that St. Anne’s-Belfield has so many opportunities for interdisciplinary crossovers. Whether that’s teaching my students about rank-choice voting because we’ve been asked to build an app to facilitate that for our school, or learning about advanced physics so that we could build computer simulations of springs, there are always faculty and students who are interested in collaboration.
One thing that’s extra special about teaching CS is that you get to help students build things that they come up with. It’s like art in that way — sure, everyone is working on the same assignment, but they can produce such incredibly different results and their personality always comes through in what they create.
