Dr. David Miller joined St. Anne’s-Belfield School as Assistant to the Head of School for Special Projects in 2025. He came to the school after 13 years at Deerfield Academy, where he served in a number of roles including Director of Global Studies, Director of the Center for Service and Global Citizenship, Director of Educational Initiatives, Assistant to the Head of School for Special Projects, Dorm Resident, Advisor, and History Teacher. Prior to Deerfield Academy, Dr. Miller worked at The Island School in The Bahamas, where he developed interdisciplinary, place-based curricula, served as Dean of Students, coordinated the Teaching Fellows program, and directed the Summer Term.
