Why St. Anne’s-Belfield?
As someone deeply committed to promoting mental health and wellbeing, I am excited about the opportunity to join St. Anne’s-Belfield as a school counselor. I am impressed by how the school integrates these critical aspects into its high-quality educational approach. The community at St. Anne’s-Belfield, with its clear dedication to care and intentionality, aligns perfectly with my own values and goals. As I enter my ninth year as a social-emotional school counselor, I am eager to contribute to and grow within a community that prioritizes holistic development and supportive learning environments.
I believe that adolescence is one of the most challenging and pivotal phases of a child’s life. During this critical period, young people experience significant emotional, social, and cognitive changes that shape their future. The complexities of navigating peer relationships, academic pressures, and self-identity can be overwhelming. As a school counselor, I find it deeply rewarding to support students through these transformative years, helping them build resilience, develop coping skills, and discover their strengths. Guiding adolescents as they grow and evolve is not only a profound responsibility but also a privilege, as I witness their journey toward becoming confident, well-rounded individuals.
