Upper School Start and End Times, and Parking

Arrival and Parking

• Students in Grades 9 – 12 should be dropped off at the top of the circle between Randolph and Lee-Duval Halls.
  • Seniors who are drivers with parking passes park in the lot closest to Grisham Hall.
  • Juniors who are drivers with parking passes park in the lot beside the Student Activity Center.
  • Sophomores and Freshmen are not allowed to park on campus due to space constraints.
• Students must arrive before 8:45 a.m. in order to be on time and in place for their first class or obligation.
  • Students should not arrive earlier than 7:45 a.m.
• Students must arrive before 10 a.m. in order to participate in any extracurricular activities.

School Day

• Academic and co-curricular programming occurs between 8:45 a.m – 3:30 p.m. Pick-up should occur after 3:30 p.m. as many students have obligations until 3:30 p.m.
• Non-competitive fitness programming begins at 3:45 p.m.
• Athletics occur between 4:10 – 6:10 p.m.

Dismissal

• Dismissal is at 3:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday
• Dismissal is at 2:45 p.m. on Fridays.
• Students may not arrive at the Belfield Campus for athletics  or athletic training services prior to 3:45 p.m. Monday – Thursday

Intercampus Transportation

The School provides intercampus transportation in front of the Greenway Rise flagpole for students who need to travel to the Belfield Campus for athletic practices or games.

• Monday – Thursday: 3:40 p.m. departure
• Friday: 2:55 p.m. departure
• A return shuttle to Greenway Rise Campus is available to Residential students at 6:20 p.m.
